We process your data to perform our contract with you (account, licenses), for our legitimate interest in running and protecting the service, to meet legal obligations (tax records), and with your consent (marketing emails).
We don't sell or share your personal data. A few service providers process it to run the service — Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record (payment, tax, and invoicing; we never see your card number), an email provider, our hosting provider, and a spam-protection service on our signup form. We don't use analytics providers, ad networks, or data brokers.
Our infrastructure is US-based. If you're outside the US, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States under standard contractual clauses.
As long as your account exists. If you've bought a license, we keep the email, purchase, and license associated with it even if you ask us to delete your data — to honor your license and meet tax and accounting law. We'll remove the rest on request.
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent (like the marketing opt-in). You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] — we'll respond within 30 days.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
The SessionCodex app for iPhone does not collect any personal data. It has no account and no sign-in, it contains no analytics or advertising, and it sends nothing to DTX Audio.
Recordings. The app uses the microphone only while you are recording, and only after you allow it. To turn microphone access off, open the iPhone Settings app, tap SessionCodex and turn off Microphone. Your recordings, their titles, tags and folders, and the device name you choose in Settings are saved on your iPhone and in the library folder you pick in iCloud Drive or Dropbox. That folder is yours: it is stored and synced by Apple or Dropbox under your own account and their privacy policies, and DTX Audio cannot see it.
Your library. The app reads the library that SessionCodex for Mac writes to the same folder. Mixes you play are kept on your iPhone so they play offline.
Deleting your data. Delete a recording in the app (it is removed from your library folder), or delete files in the Files app. Settings › Remove All Downloads clears downloaded mixes and any recording still downloaded on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone; your library folder stays in your cloud storage until you delete it.
