SessionCodex 1.2.0 is available now for macOS — the musical-metadata release, plus a deep pass on making every mix behave the same no matter how it entered your library.
What's new
- Tempo, key, time signature, and genre on your projects — visible as chips on the project hero and workspace header, editable in place, settable at create time
- Filter the Projects view by genre, driven by the genres actually in your library
- Crown any mix as a session's primary — including imported mixes — with right-click → Set as Primary Mix
- Imported mixes now count everywhere: play buttons, the Library, the session Bounces tab, Dashboard playback
- Space plays the focused row in every list with something to play
- Renaming, archiving, or merging projects keeps every mix tracked and playable
- Various fixes and improvements
If you're on 1.1.x, the app will offer 1.2.0 automatically — install it in one click. Questions or feedback: [email protected].
