SessionCodex 1.4.0 is available now for macOS.
What's new
- Drag projects onto the hierarchy — pick up a project row and drop it on an artist or album to move it there, or use the new right-click “Move to…” action
- Richer right-click menus on the hierarchy: Tree and Stacked views share the same full menu, every level gets “Reveal in Finder”, archive actions name what they archive, and album years can be set from any view — including Archive
- Bounces keep themselves organized: drop a mix into a project's Bounces folder in Finder and SessionCodex picks it up automatically, and misfiled items get an amber flag with a one-click fix
- Session tab shortcuts — jump to the project or edit its details from the header
- Send feedback with diagnostics straight from the app (app info only, never audio)
- Your Documents folder now lives inside Files/ — one home for everything you add; existing projects are moved over automatically
- Big moves to another drive are verified byte-for-byte before the originals are touched
- Clearer, plainer language across settings, dialogs, and messages
- Faster scans on large libraries, plus stability fixes throughout
If you're on 1.3.0, the app will offer 1.4.0 automatically — install it in one click. Questions or feedback: [email protected].
