SessionCodex 1.4.2 is available now for macOS — a batch of session-recognition fixes around the Crown (primary session) and Launch Session controls.
What's fixed
- Pro Tools sessions (.ptf/.pts) show their Crown and Launch Session controls again — the primary-session picker had stopped recognizing them
- Backup and cache files (like .rpp-bak and REAPER peak caches) no longer masquerade as launchable sessions
- Sessions from registered DAWs no longer show duplicate “Unrecognized DAW” rows in the file browser
- Single-file sessions and bundle-style sessions (Logic, Luna) now launch correctly from every surface
Under the hood
This release also lays groundwork for faster, safer update rollouts — releases are now road-tested on real production libraries before they reach you.
If you're on 1.4.x, the app will offer 1.4.2 automatically — install it in one click. Questions or feedback: [email protected].
