SessionCodex 1.9.0 is available now for macOS. This one is about getting music into your library with less friction — and giving whole project folders a real way home.
Getting music in
- Drag sessions or whole folders from Finder straight onto Incoming — they land ready to file.
- A folder that already belongs to a project shows as one row, carrying the project’s Type, Category, Subcategory, DAW, size and dates — in both Incoming and Scan.
Moving project folders
- Move a recognized project folder to Projects, Ideas or Archive from its right-click menu. The folder really moves, and its sessions come into the project with it.
- If the destination is already taken, SessionCodex asks you for a name instead of refusing.
Ideas
- Projects can move to Ideas now, everywhere Archive is offered.
- Ideas has the same browse tree Archive has.
Library and tags
- The Library browse view has been rebuilt around browsing and playing — cleaner columns, less clutter.
- Tags you put on a project show up in Incoming’s tag filter.
Plus general improvements and bug fixes throughout.
The app will offer 1.9.0 automatically — install it in one click. Questions or feedback: [email protected].
